Our sister company, Steadfast (3PL) Ltd are proud members of Pall-Ex – the No. 1 palletised freight distribution network. The Network is made up of around 100 of the UK’s leading hauliers strategically placed around England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and mainland Europe.
Steadfast trunk twice nightly to the Pall-Ex distribution hubs in Longtown, Cumbria and to the purpose built, state-of-the-art £12m facility in Ellistown, Leicestershire, which regularly handles in excess of 9,000 pallets daily. Here the freight is sorted and transhipped within the hub and loaded onto the outbound vehicles of our fellow members for onward delivery.
The Network now use handheld PDA’s to capture real-time POD’s at the delivery point and we use satellite tracking on our own vehicles so we know where your pallet is at all times. We can even give you access to our system so that you can view your POD and tracking details online yourself at the click of a mouse.
We are also part of the same group of companies as Freight 2 the Point in Aberdeen. As a result, we trunk nightly to Altens, Aberdeen from Glasgow which means we offer a reliable, competitive service throughout the North of Scotland and the Scottish Isles.
